K2 300 hour Syllabus

 

This 300 hour course is registered with YogaAllianceProfessionals.org and certified by i-SKY.net

It comprises a series of five 60 hour "Further Training" modules each of which is individually registered with YogaAllianceProfessionals.org and certified by i-SKY.net

If offers K2 300 hour intermediate certification - the second part of a 500 hour certification (Foundation K1 200 hours + 300 hours K2 Further Teacher Training)

 

The five core K2 modules are:

Each K2 module is 60 hours (48 contact hours - 12 hours home study) 

Modules may be attended separately and completed in any order. Completion of the 300 hour course will constitute 30 days in person attendance
plus home practice and/or online meetings (to be confirmed with each cohort on the opening day)

COMMUNICATIONResonating Truth: A Yogic Approach to Communicating Consciously

Overview: Explore communication as a spiritual practice rooted in yoga. Through asana, meditation, pranayama, and philosophical inquiry, students will develop clarity, compassion, and confidence in how they listen, speak, and relate.

RELATIONSHIPS - Union Within & Without: A Yogic Journey through Relationship

Overview: This course invites participants to deepen their relationships, with self, with others, and with the world, through the lens of yoga. Combining asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophical inquiry, students will explore the sacred art of connection, rooted in yogic tradition, modern psychology, yogic philosophy, personal insight, and embodied practice.

LIFESTYLE - Living Yoga: An exploration of Life Styles & Cycles

Overview: This course invites students to explore how yogic wisdom can support balanced living across time—daily routines (dinacharya), seasonal shifts (ritucharya), and the stages of life (ashramas). Through movement, ritual, discussion, and reflection, students will weave yoga into the fabric of everyday existence.

VITALITY - Vital Calm: A Yogic Path to Stress Release & Inner Radiance

Overview: This course explores the relationship between stress and vitality through yoga philosophy, embodied practice, and nervous system literacy. Students will learn to identify personal stress patterns, apply tools to restore balance, and cultivate sustainable energy and joy.

MIND - Mindful Stillness: A Yogic Immersion into Mind & Meditation

Overview: This course explores the nature of the mind through the lens of classical yoga and modern neuroscience. Through meditation, breathwork, asana, and philosophical inquiry, students will cultivate inner stillness, resilience, and clarity. Suitable for both yoga practitioners and those new to meditation.

The course is assessed continuously using self-feedback and trainer feedback. Students will be constantly mentored throughout the course and given advice. Students who do not meet the course requirements will be given the opportunity to improve any areas of weakness and be encouraged to pass at a later date.
